Easy Start on 8lends: Your First Training Deal
One fixed amount, a few days, a gift from 8lends and your USDC back — Easy Start walks new investors through a full investment cycle on real money.
Easy Start is a one-time training deal for new investors on 8lends. You invest a fixed amount of your own USDC for a few days, receive a gift from 8lends in several payouts and get your principal back with the last one. It lets you go through the full investment cycle — funding, payouts, withdrawing and repayment — before your first regular project. Easy Start requires completed KYC and is available once per account.

What Easy Start is
On the Easy Start page the deal looks like a regular project: an overview, a payout schedule, risks and borrower details. The difference is who the borrower is and where the payouts come from:
- You lend the fixed amount to CLEARCHAIN CORP., the company behind 8lends
- The gift is paid by 8lends from its marketing budget — it does not depend on the results of a third-party business
- That is why no annual rate (APR) applies: the gift is a fixed amount for the whole term, not interest on the usual 8lends scale
In most other ways it works like any investment on 8lends: you fund a borrower for a set term, follow a payout schedule, withdraw your payouts and get your principal back at the end. The only differences are the fixed amount, the short term and the source of the payouts.
Who can join
- You have completed KYC through Sumsub
- You have not invested in any project on 8lends yet
- Your connected wallet holds at least the investment amount in USDC on the Base network
- You have not taken part in Easy Start before — one participation per account and per wallet
⚠️ If you invest in a regular project first, the Easy Start offer is no longer available. Easy Start may be paused or closed for new participants at any time; deals that have already started continue on their schedule.
How to take part
- Step 1. Log in and complete KYC
- Step 2. Top up your wallet with the required amount of USDC on the Base network — from an exchange, another wallet or with a card
- Step 3. Open the Easy Start card on the main page and press Invest
- Step 4. Check the confirmation window (amount, gift, term and total) and sign the request in your wallet
You only sign a message in your wallet — there is no separate approval and no transaction to pay for, so you do not need ETH. The platform sends the transaction on Base and covers the gas. After a short while the deal appears in My Investments.
Payouts and getting your principal back
The gift is split into two equal payouts; the second one comes together with your principal at the end of the term:

Payouts are not sent automatically. When a payout is ready, open My Investments and press Withdraw — one press withdraws everything that is available at that moment, and the platform covers the gas. To withdraw, you will be asked to confirm your email. Payouts that you have not withdrawn yet do not expire. The principal cannot be withdrawn before the end of the term.
After Easy Start
Once all payouts are withdrawn, the deal is complete and stays in your history. You can then choose a regular project. Easy Start does not count as your first investment, so your first regular investment can still earn the $30 First Investment Bonus: it is credited for a first investment of at least 100 USDC made within 14 days of your registration on 8lends, with KYC passed (see the programme terms).

Risks
- Credit risk: the return of your principal depends on CLEARCHAIN CORP. meeting its obligations. The short term limits how long you are exposed to this risk, but does not eliminate it
- The reserve shown on the Easy Start page is stated liquidity, not guaranteed collateral
- Operational and blockchain risks: delays, failed transactions and technical issues
- No early exit: the principal is returned only at the end of the term
Frequently asked questions
Is Easy Start a real investment? Yes. It runs on real money: you lend your own USDC to CLEARCHAIN CORP. for a short term and get it back with a gift from 8lends. It is designed as a training deal, so the amount is small and fixed and the term is only a few days.
Why is there no APR? Because the payout is not interest from a borrower's business. 8lends pays a fixed gift for the whole term from its marketing budget, so an annual rate would not reflect the usual returns on 8lends.
Can I invest more or less than the fixed amount? No. The amount is the same for every participant and is shown on the Easy Start page.
Do I need ETH for gas? No. You only sign a message in your wallet; the platform sends the transactions and pays the gas — both when you join and when you withdraw.
Can I join Easy Start without KYC? No. Although regular investments of up to $500 are possible without KYC, Easy Start is available only after KYC.
Does Easy Start count for the $30 First Investment Bonus? No. Easy Start is not counted as your first investment. The bonus applies to your first regular investment of at least 100 USDC made within 14 days of your registration on 8lends, with KYC passed — the period is counted from registration, not from the end of Easy Start.
Can I take part again or with another wallet? No. Easy Start is available once per account, and a wallet that has already taken part cannot join again.
What if I do not press Withdraw? Nothing is lost — the payouts stay available and do not expire. You can withdraw them later.
What happens if Easy Start is closed while my deal is running? Your deal continues on its schedule, and you can withdraw your payouts and principal as usual. Closing only stops new participants from joining.
