Base (blockchain)

Base is a Layer 2 blockchain developed by Coinbase on top of Ethereum. It processes transactions much faster and at significantly lower cost than the Ethereum Mainnet, with gas fees of just a few cents. All smart contracts, investments, payouts, and withdrawals on 8lends run on Base. Every transaction can be publicly verified through the BaseScan block explorer.
