Collateral Realization

Collateral Realization is the process of selling collateral after a borrower defaults. On 8lends, this process is handled by Maclear AG as the Collateral Agent in accordance with the borrower's local jurisdiction. It usually takes 6 to 18 months, depending on the type of collateral and the jurisdiction. Recovery rates generally range from 60–90% for real estate, 40–70% for equipment, and 50–80% for accounts receivable.
